Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEN teacher ready to support pupils with additional needs to achieve their full potential?

We are seeking an inspiring SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and well-supported specialist setting in the Southampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a committed team that places inclusion, wellbeing, and personalised learning at the heart of everything they do.

The Role - SEN Teacher

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets.
  • Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, and moderate learning difficulties.
  • Create a structured, safe, and engaging learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCO, therapists, and families.
  • Track and evidence pupil progress using personalised learning plans.
  • Contribute to annual reviews and multi-agency meetings.
The Ideal Candidate for this SEN Teacher role:

You will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience working with pupils with SEND (mainstream with SEN experience or specialist provision).
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management with a nurturing, therapeutic approach.
  • Be adaptable, resilient, and solution-focused.
  • Have high expectations for both academic and personal development.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

ECTs with relevant SEN placement experience are welcome to apply.
