Academics is working closely with a specialist provision in Maidstone to recruit an exceptional educator who is committed to providing high-quality, nurturing, and individualised learning experiences.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive and well-resourced provision catering for pupils with a range of needs including ASD, SEMH, MLD, speech and language needs, and complex learning difficulties. You will:Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to individual EHCPsCreate a safe, motivating and inclusive classroom environmentWork closely with a multidisciplinary team including SENCOs, therapists, and support staffUse a range of strategies and interventions to support emotional regulation and positive behaviourTrack progress and maintain high standards of safeguarding, assessment, and reporting
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)Experience teaching pupils with SEN (either in mainstream or specialist settings)Strong understanding of ASD, SEMH, and/or complex needsResilient, empathetic, patient, and adaptableAble to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and familiesPassionate about inclusive education and personalised learning
