About the Role

This is more than a teaching position-it's an opportunity to inspire, empower, and shape futures. As an SEN Teacher at Miller House School, you will deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to each pupil's individual needs, fostering curiosity, confidence, and personal growth. You'll monitor progress and wellbeing, adapting your approach to ensure every pupil can succeed, while creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to the holistic development of our pupils and take an active role in school-wide initiatives, always upholding the highest safeguarding standards.

Who We're Looking For

You are a passionate, qualified teacher who thrives in a collaborative, innovative environment. You will:

  • Hold UK QTS or equivalent
  • Have experience working with pupils with SEMH, autism, learning difficulties, or complex needs
  • Communicate confidently with pupils, colleagues, and external professionals
  • Be adaptable, creative, and committed to personalised learning
  • Be eager to contribute to building a strong, inclusive school culture

Desirable: Strong background in Maths or English

About Us

Miller House School is a brand-new school located in Stoneygate, Leicester. The school opened in September 2025, has a capacity of 80 pupils, and offers a co-educational provision for students with complex needs, including SEMH.

Miller House School is a specialist SEMH setting for young people aged 11-16. We are committed to supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, as well as autism and ADHD. Our safe and nurturing environment ensures every child is heard, seen, and supported to thrive.

You'll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, giving you more time to do the things that make you happy. 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit
