Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Oakwood

School Type: SEND Schools working with various disabilities from ASD, ADHD and other learning Disabilities

Start Date: Day to day supply needed ASAP

Duration: Day to day supply needed ASAP

Salary: £350 - £550 per week

Responsibilities
  • Support Pupils with various needs and disabilities, helping support them with their school day.
  • Support children aged 4 to 16 years.
  • Work around your flexibility.
Candidate Requirements
  • Having GCSE grade C or above at Maths and English or equivalent
  • Experience of working with SEND pupils and ability to demonstrate an understanding of SEND requirements or worked in care with vulnerable adults or challenging behaviour
  • Have a good understanding of positive behaviour support and how to regulate behaviours which may challenge
  • Full enhanced DBS certificate
  • Completion of the Connex Education Onboarding Process
  • The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teaching assistant
