Overview

We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to join the Secondary Phase of an all-through Academy in Wandsworth. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs including ASD, SEMH, Dyslexia and behavioural needs, helping them stay focused in lessons, complete tasks, and manage their emotions positively.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support, mainly with Key Stage 3 & 4 pupils (ages 11-16).
• Work closely with class teachers and the school's SENCo and participate in ongoing training and support to develop your skills.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people in educational, youth, or community settings - as well as those with relevant personal experience - is welcome.
• Willingness to gain valuable classroom experience in a welcoming, forward-thinking secondary school.
