Part-Time Primary Teacher - Specialist SEN Alternative Provision 
Location: Chesterfield
Hours: Part-time (Thursday's & Friday's) - Specific days negotiable
Start Date: Feb 2026, or sooner if available
Academics agency is seeking a resilient and nurturing teacher to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a profound impact within a therapeutic, relationship-led setting.
Your Role:- Plan and deliver engaging, primary-level lessons to small groups or on a 1:1 basis, focusing on core subjects and holistic development.
- Build secure, trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced significant trauma or adversity.
- Champion each child's progress, celebrating small steps as major victories.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff.
- A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in primary education.
- A genuine passion for, and understanding of, SEN/SEMH and trauma-informed practice.
- Boundless patience, empathy, and emotional resilience.
- A positive, steady presence and a firm belief in inclusion.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Excellent professional references.
