The Opportunity

We are looking for a Primary PPA Teacher to join our dedicated and skilled team. This role offers both full-time and part-time options and is perfect for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact, every single day.

You will teach across primary classes (Y1-Y6) providing high-quality PPA cover, delivering engaging lessons, and building strong, positive relationships with some of the most vulnerable pupils in Kent.

Our pupils have EHCPs for SEMH needs, often alongside ASD and moderate learning difficulties. Many join us after being out of school for some time - but with the right support, our pupils re-engage, rebuild confidence, and learn to thrive.

What We're Looking For

A Primary Teacher who:

  • Is creative, resilient, and child-centred
  • Has strong behaviour management rooted in relationships, not punishment
  • Can deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Is reflective, adaptable, and calm under pressure
  • Wants to work in a therapeutic, multi-agency environment
  • Brings warmth, empathy, consistency, and high expectations

Experience in SEMH/SEND is desirable, but passion and the right mindset are even more important - full training is provided.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering inspiring lessons across different primary classes
  • Supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, and complex needs
  • Working closely with support staff, therapists, and the wider team
  • Using restorative and trauma-informed approaches
  • Helping pupils rebuild trust in adults, school, and learning
  • Contributing to a positive, safe, and nurturing environment
