Job Description

SEN HLTA - Trauma Informed - Education and Training

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN HLTA to join our supportive and dynamic team in Redbridge. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate SEN HLTA who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.

This role is based in Redbridge, within a nurturing environment that follows a Trauma - informed practice model. The successful HLTA will play a key role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, ensuring they feel safe, understood, and able to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning across the school as a HLTA
  • Deliver targeted interventions aligned with education and training goals
  • Work collaboratively with teachers in Redbridge to support individual learning plans
  • Promote positive behaviour through a Trauma - informed practice model
  • Contribute to the ongoing education and training of students and staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as an SEN HLTA
  • Strong understanding of SEN and Trauma - informed practice
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for supporting young people in Redbridge
