SEN Behaviour Coach - Harrogate

About the role:

Justteachers is seeking a motivated SEN Behaviour Coach to join a supportive school in the Harrogate area on a long-term basis.

This full-time role is due to commence ASAP, with shortlisting currently underway. The school provides an inclusive and structured environment, with a strong focus on supporting pupils with special educational needs and helping them develop positive behaviours and successfully access learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with SEN on a one-to-one or small-group basis across the school day
• Implementing behaviour support strategies and promoting emotional regulation
• Working closely with teachers, SEND staff, and pastoral teams to provide consistent and targeted support

Pre-requisites:

• Relevant experience working in a SEN, behaviour support, or pastoral role
• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
• A strong understanding of behaviour management and de-escalation techniques
• Two education or school-based references
