Job Description

A well regarded and supportive primary school in Camden is looking to appoint a confident and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in KS2 with SEMH needs.

This is a long term opportunity starting ASAP, ideal for someone who has experience supporting children with behavioural needs and is passionate about making a difference.

The Role
  • Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH (anxiety, emotional regulation, behaviour challenges)
  • Implement behaviour support strategies and routines
  • Build a strong, trusting relationship with the pupil
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and external agencies
  • Support access to learning and encourage positive engagement
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour
  • Resilient, patient, and consistent approach
  • Confident managing behaviour within a classroom setting
  • A positive, proactive attitude

Pay: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
