Learning and Pastoral Support AssistantHorley, Surrey

Permanent, Full-Time, Term-TimeHours: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Salary: Dependent on experience

Your Role:

  • Build trusting relationships using PACE, trauma-informed practice, and emotional regulation strategies.

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group academic and pastoral support aligned to EHCP/IEP objectives.

  • Act as a positive role model, promoting collaboration, aspiration, resilience, and empowerment.

  • Support Enrichment and Personal Development Clubs.

  • Assist with supervision, progress records, assessments, and liaison with parents and professionals.

  • Experience or strong desire to train in SEMH, autism, and trauma-informed approaches.
