An opportunity has come up for a Security Officer at the Friarage Hospital. This post advert is for a night shift position. The security department has the purpose of providing a dedicated and professional service to all the patrons of the Trust; the service provides staff escorts, crime prevention and a quick response service in cases of emergency.
Main duties of the jobTo assist in providing a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors within the Friarage Hospital site and adjoining premises; to protect the buildings and their contents from theft, unsolicited visitors and damage. The security department operates 24 hour, 365 days a year, with its main remit being the health & safety of the environment and reporting of all instances of crime. Qualifications- Level 1 in Maths/English or equivalent
- Experience in a porter or security role
- Previous experience within a hospital environment
- IT Literate
