Hours of Post: 39 hours per week

Salary: Fortnightly Security 2 Salary Scale (€1,355.20- €1,514.46 per fortnight)

Post Summary

The Security Services is responsible for the management and delivery of security services that support the core business of the University. These services include general security services, managing security systems and liaison with emergency services. The Security Officer will report to the Superintendent as their shift Supervisor, and their line manager is the Security Operations Manager.

Experience and Core Competencies

Applicants should demonstrate experience in (but not limited to) general security duties, incident response, emergency procedures, and effective communication with emergency services. They must be able to work independently, initiate solutions, and resolve problems proactively.
