As a Security Officer with Sodexo at Unilever Seacroft in Leeds, you'll play an important role in protecting the site, colleagues, visitors and assets while maintaining a professional and welcoming security presence.
This is a physical role working a rota of 12-hour day and night shifts. You'll need to be comfortable carrying out manual tasks, following site procedures and responding appropriately to security incidents.
What you'll do- Maintain a professional and visible security presence across the site.
- Carry out regular security patrols and checks.
- Monitor access to the site and support the safe movement of colleagues, visitors and contractors.
- Respond appropriately to incidents, alarms and emergencies.
- Follow security procedures and instructions accurately.
- Complete required security records and reports.
- Support the safety and security of people, property and site assets.
- Work effectively as part of the wider site team.
- A valid SIA Manned Guarding licence.
- A valid First Aid qualification.
- The ability to understand and follow instructions.
- A reasonable level of physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual tasks.
- A professional and responsible approach to security.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts as part of the site rota.
Successful candidates will be required to complete security vetting.
