Job Description
Night Security Officer - Gatehouse Based 
Location: Aberdare
Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off (17:30 - 05:30)
Pay Rate: £13.36 per hour
Pay Frequency: Monthly
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Night Security Officer to join our team at a site in Aberdare. This is a gatehouse based role with additional responsibilities across the site during night hours.
Key Responsibilities- Controlling site access and egress
- Operating and monitoring CCTV systems
- Completing regular patrols of the site
- Maintaining accurate logs and records
- Dealing with visitors, drivers, and contractors professionally
- Responding appropriately to incidents and alarms
- Carrying out general gatehouse duties
- Valid SIA Licence (essential)
- Previous security or gatehouse experience preferred
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
- Basic IT skills for logging and reporting
- Competitive hourly rate (£13.36)
- Consistent 3 on / 3 off rotation
