Job Overview

We are seeking to recruit 2 security officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at our premises. Responsibilities include conducting regular site checks and monitoring surveillance equipment. Own transport is desirable.

Work Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off, on a 4-week rota.

Hours: 26 hours per week, from 5 pm to midnight.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unlawful activities.
2. Conduct regular inspections to ensure security measures are in place and effective.
3. Maintain surveillance logs for incidents or suspicious activities.
4. Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies.
5. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
6. Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and unusual occurrences.
7. Work alone or as part of a team.
8. Record all visitors, including arrival and departure times.
9. Operate CCTV and perform walk-round checks.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence, passed 2 or more years ago.
• Experience in security or related fields preferred but not required.
• Strong observational skills and alertness.
• Knowledge of security and safety protocols.
• SIA Licence Card.
