Security Officer - CST

Security Officer (Friday & Saturday night) Your key responsibilities for this role are as follows:

• Ensure the building is secured to the highest level
• Actively monitor all security systems including CCTV, security and fire alarm systems
• Proactively and regularly sweep the internal areas of the premises and ensure all areas are secure
• Monitor and control access/egress for the building
• Report and challenge any suspicious activity when safe to do so
• Ensure all exits, doors, and windows are secure and remain so
• Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner
• Partake in CST training opportunities to ensure fitness and security capabilities are current
• To cover the National Security Control Centre when it is unmanned

• Able to make decisions quickly especially when under pressure
• To behave, always, in a professional, polite, and mature manner
• Good time management skills
• Possessing excellent teamworking skills
• Being able to follow instructions
• Being flexible and patient
