PositionSECRETARIAL ASSISTANT - Medical Secretarial Team
Band 2 £26,696 - £28,988 per annum pro rata
25 hrs/week
Responsibilities- To provide a comprehensive, confidential, efficient, and high quality secretarial and administrative support service to Secretaries and Medical Staff within the Medical Secretarial Team.
- You will undertake a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties and transcribe confidential patient information using a voice recognition system in conjunction with other hospital systems.
- Appropriate secretarial/administration qualifications or equivalent/training experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency with Microsoft Word would be advantageous.

- As from 1 April 2026 the Agenda for Change full-time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part-time hours will be reduced pro rata, with a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay is not affected.
