We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive Secondary School in Spalding who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
The school are well thought of in the wider community, they pride themselves on having a welcoming student body and supportive staff team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to supporting young people in achieving their full potential.
The successful candidate will work closely with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing tailored support both inside and outside the classroom to help them access learning, develop confidence, and succeed academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide learning support to students across a range of subjects and year groups
- Support students with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum effectively
- Work alongside class teachers to deliver targeted interventions and classroom support
- Encourage student engagement, participation, and independence in learning
- Support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Previous experience working with young people, ideally within a school or educational setting
- Experience supporting students with SEND is desirable but not essential
- A patient, positive, and adaptable approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff
- Two recent education-based references
