Secondary Teacher Dunstable

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, subject specific lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
• Prepare students for assessments and examinations
• Contribute to departmental planning and school development
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Participate in school events, meetings, and CPD

Experience

• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
• Experience teaching your subject across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply

• Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to engage, challenge, and motivate students

Educational requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Relevant degree in your subject specialism
• Safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake training)
