Science Teacher - Full Time

Location: Forest Gate (E7)
Start Date: 05 January 2026
Contract: Long-term / Temp to Perm
Pay: From £176 per day
Suitable for: ECTs and Experienced Teachers

We are delighted to be supporting a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Forest Gate as they seek a committed Science Teacher to join their thriving department. This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced practitioners looking to teach engaged learners across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Role Details

  • Position: Science Teacher

  • Start Date: 05 January 2026

  • Duration: Until the end of the academic year (with potential to extend)

  • Contract Type: Long-term / Temp to Perm

  • Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, plus parents' evenings

  • Pay: Minimum £176 per day

Experience, Training & Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Minimum of one year's UK teaching experience (ECTs with placements considered)

  • Up-to-date safeguarding training (issued within the last 12 months)

Eligibility Requirements

To work in this role, you must:

  • Have the Right to Work in the UK

  • Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)

  • Provide two recent child-related professional references covering the last two years
