  • Post: Part-time (8 hours per week) GCSE PE post at The King's School, Witney, Oxfordshire; to be worked over two days (Wednesday and Friday). An independent Christian school (3-16) run by Oxfordshire Community Churches
  • Salary: FTE would be from £29,994 to £32,178 FTE (pro rata for 8 hrs per week is £4,845 to £5,198) dependent on qualifications and experience.
  • Advertised: Tuesday 3rd March 2026

Secondary KS4 PE Teacher (Part-time)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful Christian School staff team, where staff feel supported and valued, and where pupils achieve excellent results. The King's School has operated for over 40 years providing high quality Early Years, Primary and Secondary education. Currently the role is 213 pupils.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled teacher to deliver high-quality KS4 PE lessons and continue our current GCSE cohort through year 11. Both fully qualified teachers and well-qualified graduates in a relevant subject are equally welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality KS4 PE lessons and continue our current GCSE cohort through year 11.
  • Build upon the successes of the past, maintaining the distinctive quality and tone of the school.
  • Work as part of a strong staff team in line with the vision of Oxfordshire Community Churches.
  • Be an adaptable practitioner with a servant heart.
Qualifications
  • Fully qualified teachers or well-qualified graduates in a relevant subject.
  • Committed Christian, willing to work with others in the context of OCC's ethos statement.
  • Desirable: D1 (minibus) driving qualification; training could be provided if required.
