Job Description

SECONDARY ICT TEACHER

Location: Bahrain
Sart Date: Immediate - need to mobilise immediately

An established IB World School in Bahrain is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced educator to join its close-knit international community. The school provides education from Early Childhood through Grade 12, following the full IB continuum of PYP, MYP and DP and placing strong emphasis on inquiry, critical thinking, creativity and international-mindedness. With around 300 students representing a diverse range of nationalities, the school offers a personalised learning environment where teachers can make a real impact. The spacious campus provides modern academic, STEM, technology, arts and sporting facilities, creating an engaging environment for both students and staff.

Recruitment Criteria
• A Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject.
• A recognised teaching qualification/licence, such as a PGCE, QTS or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching the relevant age group and subject.
• Experience with the IB curriculum is highly desirable, particularly PYP, MYP or DP experience relevant to the position.
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high academic standards.
• An understanding of inquiry-based, student-centred learning and the development of critical-thinking skills.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural international school.
• A willingness to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, enrichment and pastoral programmes.

Salary and Benefits
• Tax Free Monthly Salary Ranging from BD1600 to BD1800 and this includes the accommodation allowance
