The RoleA fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspiring Second in Maths to join Derby Cathedral School as it continues to grow in terms of numbers and success.
The successful candidate will have:
- Good quality Honours degree in an appropriate discipline.
- PGCE or equivalent in secondary education with relevant subject specialism.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- To support and assist driving forward the strategic direction and development of the Mathematics department in conjunctionwith the Head of Faculty.
- Secure high-quality teaching and effective use of resources toachieve the highest standards of achievement for all pupils.
- Contribute to the development and realisation of the whole schoolcore values, the aims, vision and ethos of the school.
- Ensure effective quality assurance outcomes for the subject whichmeet the high standards expected by the school
- Building strong relationships with students, parents, and external agencies to foster a supportive environment.
- Promoting the school's FAITH values and ensuring a positive culture for learning.
- A welcoming and supportive school community.
