Seasonal Patrol Officers (Temp)

Overview

The Maritime Section is looking to recruit two Seasonal Part Time Patrol Officers for the River Fal to cover the summer season.

Responsibilities

• Collecting mooring, anchoring, berthing and pontoon fees
• Carrying out minor maintenance tasks and assisting with refuse disposal
• Supporting the day to day operations of Malpas Marina
• Enforcing byelaws as required
• Delivering excellent customer service to harbour users

These roles involve working independently on the water and require a professional, confident and safety focused approach.

Qualifications

• Can work independently and use their own initiative
• Have strong customer service and communication skills
• Possesses good knowledge of local waters
• Hold a minimum of RYA Powerboat Competency Level II qualification (or equivalent)

All positions will commence at the beginning of May and finish at the end of September 2026 and will require some flexibility with hours to meet the needs of the service.
