Join Childbase Partnership as Seasonal Nursery Practitioner, location: Nursery on the Green, Redbourn, AL3 7NB. Permanent role offering 0 hours per week with varied shifts Monday Friday 07 30 during academic holiday periods.

Working Hours & Compensation

Salary: £12.87 £14.33 per hour.

Responsibilities & Expectations
  • Provide nurturing care for babies and children up to five years old.
  • Implement EYFS aligned activities planned by the Key Person, encouraging play and exploration.
  • Collect observations contributing to each child's learning journey.
  • Ensure a safe, valued and happy environment promoting well being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents and children, building positive relationships.
Qualifications & Skills
  • DfE approved early years qualification at Level2 or above is advantageous (not essential).
  • Experience caring for babies and young children, ideally in an early years setting.
  • Knowledge of child development and EYFS curriculum.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and a commitment to child protection practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate positively.
Requirements
  • Reside within a commutable distance of the nursery.
  • Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
  • Pass an Enhanced DBS check.
