Seasonal Lifeguard Supervisor: Catfield (Wells to Cromer) Temp (up to 3 months)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Seasonal Lifeguard Supervisor to cover our operations from Catfield Support Centre for up to 3 months, covering our operations across beaches from Wells to Cromer.

Responsibilities

This post is operationally focused with some interesting challenges:

• Working with other Supervisors on the recruitment, training, supervision, welfare, and development of the lifeguard team.
• Ensuring the safe and effective delivery of the lifeguard service to the highest of standards.
• Managing and supporting lifeguard operations on demanding popular surf beaches, including responding to emergency situations.
• Contributing to the operational procedures, lifeguard service model and strategic planning.
• Coordinating weekend and early/late shifts with other Supervisors, maintaining flexibility and effective time management.

Qualifications and Skills

You will possess a sound knowledge of the beach environment and sea based recreational activities along with extensive experience in the provision of RNLIlifeguard services. As an excellent communicator, you will have the ability to deal effectively with a broad range of people and situations.

It would be desirable to hold the National Vocational Beach Lifeguard Qualification - Trainer Assessor.
