We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Seasonal Gardeners / Grounds Persons to join our team and help maintain our Parks & Cemeteries to the highest standards. If you take pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming outdoor spaces for the public, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in your community.In this role, you will undertake a wide range of horticultural, grounds, and facility maintenance tasks across various locations as directed by your line manager. You may work independently or as part of a team, ensuring all areas are well maintained, presentable, and enjoyed by all who use them. Strong communication with site users, colleagues, and management is essential.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out horticultural and grounds maintenance tasks across Parks & Cemeteries
• Using horticultural machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
• Ensuring all areas are clean, tidy, and well presented
• Supporting facility maintenance tasks as required
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and engaging positively with the public
• Following Health & Safety procedures and contributing to safe working practices

What We're Looking For
Applicants must be able to demonstrate at least one year's experience, with personal and specific examples, in:

• Working in a horticultural environment with regular public interaction
• Using a range of horticultural machinery and hand tools safely
• Applying Health & Safety knowledge, including practical risk assessments
• Providing a high quality service in a public facing role
• Working effectively as part of a team

Essential Requirement

• A valid driving licence and access to a form of transport that enables you to fulfil the duties of the post
