About the Role
Glenarm Castle, one of Ireland's most important historic estates and winner of UK Historic Houses' Garden of the Year, is seeking an enthusiastic Gardener to join our dedicated team during peak time June - September with the potential of an apprenticeship role starting at the end of the season. The role involves maintaining and developing our award-winning Walled Garden and Woodland Walk, including key visitor areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Renovating borders and creating new garden areas
- Upkeep of wedding venue and visitor and retail areas
- Landscaping and upkeep of estate pathways
- Care and maintenance of garden machinery and equipment
About You
- Minimum 2 years' gardening experience
- GCSE Grade C or above in English & Maths
- Full driving licence
- Able to work outdoors in all weather
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive, flexible, can-do attitude with good initiative
