About The Carriage HouseOpen to both residents and non-residents, The Carriage House welcomes guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Located just a three-minute walk from the Manor House, the magnificently restored Carriage House offers stunning views across the estate and has been thoughtfully designed as a dining destination of effortless luxury and relaxed elegance.
By day, it provides the perfect setting for guests to pause between estate activities and enjoy a light lunch in refined surroundings. By evening, The Carriage House transforms into a vibrant and welcoming space where guests linger over exceptional cuisine before finishing the night with a drink on the terrace as dusk settles over the estate.
The RoleThere has never been a more exciting time to join the team at Adare Manor, and we are delighted to be recruiting for a "Seasonal Host" to join our Carriage House Food & Beverage team.
As a Host, you will be at the forefront of our dining experience, acting as the first point of contact for our guests and ensuring they receive a warm and memorable welcome from the moment they arrive. You will serve as an ambassador for the hotel, confidently presenting menus, offering knowledgeable recommendations, and delivering a seamless and professional arrival experience in line with our exceptional standards.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a warm, engaging, and professional welcome to all guests
- Manage reservations, confirmations, and table allocations effectively
- Optimize table planning to maximise guest experience and table yield
- Present menus confidently and provide informed recommendations
- Ensure smooth guest flow and seamless communication with the wider team
- Support floor staff during peak service periods as required
- Maintain the highest standards of presentation and guest service at all times
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment is desirable
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a warm and engaging personality
- Well-spoken and professional in appearance and manner
- Computer literate with experience handling reservations systems
- A proactive team player with a passion for exceptional guest service
