About theRole
Our lifeguards are onhand to ensure our guests are having a great time as well askeeping safe in the pool and on the flumes in our SplashWaterworld! Our guests' safety is our biggest priority, so thisrole requires superb attention to detail whilst also interactingwith our guests and providing exceptional customer service. Youwill promote and run poolside activities, creating memorableexperiences for our guests.
This roleoffers contracts ranging from 24 to 35 hours per week, depending onwhether you live on or off resort. Start dates are availablebetween 1st April and 1st July, running through to 8th September -perfect for students! You'll need to be available for a mix ofmidweek and weekend shifts, including eveningfinishes.
AboutYou
You'll be confident, friendly,and able to engage with people of all ages. You'll need to be astrong swimmer with great attention to detail, keeping our guestssafe while they enjoy the pool. While you'll be part of asupportive team, there will be times you'll supervise areas on yourown, so reliability, flexibility, and punctuality arekey.
If successful,you'll be invited to a Butlin's swim test, which includes swimming50m in under 75 seconds, treading water, surface diving, andclimbing out of the pool unaided. Parental permission is requiredfor applicants under 18.
If you have a previous lifeguardqualification, that's brilliant, but we will also put you throughyour NPLQ course, giving you all the training you need to startyour career inlifeguarding.
