As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating and supporting a high-performing hardware Agile team within the Mechatronic Development Cluster of the IGT Fixed Systems R&D organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful adoption and implementation of Agile practices, removing impediments, fostering self-organization, and driving continuous improvements. Your leadership will directly impact the team's ability to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Embed and deploy Hybrid Model standards within the Agile team.
- Act as the Lean/Agile process authority for the Scrum team and its stakeholders.
- Facilitate all Agile team rituals, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Promote a self-organizing, empowered team environment by coaching and mentoring team members.
- Resolve issues within the team and with stakeholders, using influencing and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure PI Planning commitments are met with a focus on iteration predictability and PI predictability as key performance indicators.
- Maintain high data quality in Backlog Management Tools to ensure dashboard visibility.
- Track and monitor team velocity, iteration planning, quality metrics, and continuous improvement KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to making the team high performing.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8+ years of R&D experience with a focus on hardware or mechatronic development.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager, specifically in managing hardware Scrum teams.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Experience working within Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
- A quality-first mindset, with knowledge of DFSS / Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred).
- Familiarity with IGT systems and program management is considered a strong plus.
