Full-time PermanentSalary: Up to £42,000 PAYEI am recruiting for an experienced Scrub Nurse to join a specialist ophthalmic theatre team in Cheshire Oaks. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-volume cataract and vitreoretinal service, delivering safe, efficient and patient-focused care.The RoleYou will provide skilled scrub support across ophthalmic procedures, working closely with surgeons and the wider theatre team to ensure smooth and effective surgical lists.Key responsibilities include:
- Scrubbing for high volume cataract surgery
- Setting up and assisting with vitrectomy procedures
- Preparing phaco machines and ophthalmic instrumentation
- Supporting surgeons by anticipating and resolving intraoperative issues
- Maintaining accurate electronic and written patient record
- Contributing to clinical governance, audit and staff development
About You
- Nursing degree or equivalent
- Current registration with the NMC
