If you are passionate about making an impact and want to be part of a team that values growth, innovation, and excellence, then Ipsen could be where you thrive.Role Summary As a Scientist 1 - Drug Product Process Development, you will assist in the execution of Drug Product / Fill Finish development studies to define robust drug product manufacturing processes and develop understanding of drug product attributes. You will support Drug Product plans and strategies that enable clinical supply.In this role you will: Assist in aspects of Drug Product Development to define manufacturing processes and understand Drug Product attributes, both internally and via CDMOs Write and execute protocols required within Drug Product Development Work under general supervision to meet project goals Carry out laboratory work with a high right first time rate Ensure experimental work is recorded appropriately in controlled laboratory notebooks or protocols in line with GxP and ALCOA data integrity principles Perform analytical assays in support of development studiesAdditional Responsibilities Perform technical review of data for aspects of drug product development studies and reports Prepare accurate and precise technical reports Lead aspects related to process or general improvements in a specific area Maintain and contribute to the successful running of laboratory areas in line with GxP Manage laboratory consumables and ensure equipment maintenance and calibration are performed in line with approved procedures Conduct routine sampling, testing and cleaning to maintain laboratory equipment and facilities Operate equipment safely in accordance with cGXP, GMP and Health & Safety requirements and ensure defective equipment is reported and repaired Act as a trainer to other Scientists Work effectively within GMP and EHS requirements at all timesRequirements Essential: Degree in an appropriate scientific discipline or equivalent laboratory working experience Ability to work in a GMP regulated environment English language proficiencyPreferred: Relevant industry laboratory experienceRole Details Location: Wrexham Working Pattern: Fully on site are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported; where we embrace "The Real Us".
