The Centre for Primary Education (CEDP) is part of the Department of Education at the University of Fribourg. Its mission is to train primary level teachers, provide continuous training, and contribute to research and development. To complete the team for the research project Inclusion Language accompanying the pilot project for language classes for students with developmental language disorders in a region of the canton of Fribourg, the following position is to be filled: Scientist.Why join us? There are opportunities for networking and working with various partners in the Fribourg school system, within educational institutions. You will have the possibility to gain or expand your competencies concerning certain data collection and research data analysis tools. There is also the chance to gain experience in producing reports and scientific articles.Your missions: Implementation of methods and data analysis, conducting interviews with various field partners (teachers, special education teachers, school administrators, therapists, parents, students ), developing action research in educational institutions, reviewing literature and writing reports and scientific articles.Desired profile: Master's degree in special education, behavioral sciences, speech therapy, or a related field, possibly in the same areas. Interest in inclusion and exclusion processes in a school context, the development of inclusive education. Good knowledge of the Fribourg school context. Proficiency in common tools (Word, Excel ). Knowledge of data analysis methods and/or data analysis software (SPSS, JAMOVI, or R). Good analytical and collaborative abilities.
