Lytchett Minster School is looking for a Science Technician to support our large, thriving and well equipped Science department. The role is permanent and starts as soon as possible. It is a full time position, though part time may be considered for the right candidate. The role is term time only, working 39 weeks a year, pay award pending.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will play an important role in giving students a wide variety of educational experiences in their Science lessons.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at grade C or above. They should also possess an advanced vocational or academic qualification such as BTEC Higher, HNC/D, or an Advanced City & Guilds certificate, or substantial experience in a relevant work area together with an NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification.
