Science Technician

Overview

The technician is a highly valued member of the Science Department. They will be responsible for helping with the organisation and day-to-day running of the nine school laboratories and two preparation rooms. They will be accountable, in the first instance, to the Senior Science Technician and form part of the team supporting the teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the organisation and day-to-day running of nine school laboratories and two preparation rooms.
• Be accountable to the Senior Science Technician and support teaching staff as part of the Science Department.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: £16,463 (FTE £27,905). All staff receive free lunches and refreshments.

Working hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday) - Term time only (34 weeks)
