Science Technician - Corby

About the role

Justteachers is seeking a Science Technician for a secondary school in Corby. This full-time role starts 8th June 2026 and ends 19th March 2027. You will support the science department by preparing materials and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up laboratory equipment for lessons
• Ensure health and safety standards are met
• Maintain and organise resources
• Assist teachers during practical sessions
• Manage stock and ordering supplies

Pre-requisites

• Experience in a laboratory or school setting
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Organised and detail-oriented
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
• Two references within the last two years from a related field
