Job Description

SEN Science Teacher (Chemistry & Physics) Outstanding SEMH School Cambridge Area 1-Year Fixed Term

I C Talent is working with an Outstanding SEMH specialist school on the outskirts of Cambridge to recruit a passionate and adaptable Science Teacher (Chemistry & Physics) on a fixed-term basis (1 year).

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and accessible Chemistry and Physics lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with Autism and SEMH
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students to support behaviour and engagement
  • Work closely with support staff and wider professionals
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

What we're looking for:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience or strong interest in working within SEN/SEMH settings
  • Ability to teach Chemistry and Physics
  • A patient, resilient, and flexible approach
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
