Science Teacher

Smile Education is collaborating with a prominent secondary school in Manchester that is welcoming a talented Science teacher starting in April 2026. The school is open to part time and full time teachers. If you're ready to inspire young minds and make a positive impact in the classroom, we encourage you to get in touch. This role would be suitable for ECTs.

As a Science teacher, the role will consist of planning and delivering captivating lessons to students in line with the curriculum and adapting teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students. You will focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that helps student engagement and critical thinking. The right candidate will need to assess and evaluate student progress, offer constructive feedback, and nurture a love for learning.

You will join a staff body who are fun, dedicated, hardworking and professional, who will work together to support you in reaching your potential.

The successful candidate must have:
  • A bachelor's degree in education, science or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or QTS/Level 5 (ideal but not required).
  • Proficiency in the secondary curriculum and effective instructional techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and motivating students to excel.
