This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to teach Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students, igniting their curiosity and helping them develop a strong understanding of the scientific world.As a Science Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that inspire students to explore the wonders of science. Your role will involve preparing students for GCSE exams, fostering a love for science, and providing constructive feedback to support their academic development. You will also be responsible for marking students' work, tracking their progress, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students in KS3 and KS4 across all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)Plan and prepare lessons in accordance with the national curriculum and school policiesAssess students' progress regularly through marking, feedback, and formal assessmentsSupport students in preparing for their GCSE exams and help them achieve their full potentialFoster a passion for science and encourage students to think critically and creativelyManage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive and productive learning environmentWork collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work and teaching resourcesParticipate in staff meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities as requiredThe Ideal Candidate:Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or combined sciences) and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 is preferred, but not essentialPassionate about science education and able to inspire students to engage with the subjectStrong classroom management and communication skillsAbility to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learnersCommitted to ongoing professional development and working collaboratively within a teamStrong organisational skills to manage planning, marking, and assessmentWhat We Offer:A supportive and friendly working environmentOpportunities for professional development and career progressionA competitive salary and benefits packageAccess to modern teaching resources and technologyA commitment to staff wellbeing and work-life balanceHow to Apply:If you are a dedicated Science teacher looking to inspire students and make a real impact, we want to hear from you!
