School Caretaker

Phoenix Recruitment Services are seeking School Caretakers for short/long term Temporary contracts and Temp-to-Perm scenarios within educational establishments.

Essential Criteria

• Strong DIY skills or specific trade qualification
• Reliable with excellent time keeping
• Fit & Healthy for moving furniture from floor to floor
• Groundwork etc.
• Team Player.
• Various hours/shifts. Monday to Friday

Duties

• Ensuring the school buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard, including routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Performing minor repairs and maintenance on school property.
• Managing heating, lighting, and security systems, ensuring the building remains safe and operational.
• Opening and closing the school premises at the start and end of each day.
• Overseeing the care of outdoor areas, including grounds maintenance.
• Responding to any urgent maintenance or repair issues as they arise.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

PLEASE NOTE: You would be required to hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
