Behaviour Mentor - Full-Time (5 Days per Week)Secondary Schools Lewisham

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school environment in Lewisham on a full-time, 5-day-per-week basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional who is committed to supporting young people with behavioural, emotional, and social needs, and who is looking to grow within a school that genuinely values staff development and progression.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning by:

• Working 1:1 and in small groups with students displaying challenging behaviour

• Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour strategies

• Assisting students to reintegrate into lessons and build positive relationships

• Collaborating closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral leads

• Acting as a positive role model and consistent support figure for students

• Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role is essential

• Experience working within secondary school settings

• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build rapport quickly

• A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach

• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people
