School Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Blair Therapies is hiring! We are currently seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based services for a Blair County public school district beginning in the academic year. This position is full-time; however, part-time candidates will be considered, depending on the candidate's availability.

Responsibilities

Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district requirements.

Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student success.

Participate in IEP meetings and provide timely documentation and reports.

Implement evidence-based interventions and tailor goals to meet each student's individual needs.

Maintain clear and organized records, complying with school district and state guidelines.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification (Instructional I or Educational Specialist)

PA State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply

Experience in pediatrics or school-based settings a plus

Location: Bedford County School District (exact location to be confirmed upon offer).

Schedule: Full-time

Compensation: $27 - $40 an hour. Competitive rates based on experience and role.
