Job Description

Role Overview

SCADA Designer will be directly responsible for all of the SCADA design for both our EPC and ICP projects. The SCADA designer will lead all SCADA related activities and directly interface with any external and internal stakeholder when necessary.

What will you be doing?

  • Design:
    • Produce the following reports/drawings:
      • SCADA Communication design
      • Bill of Materials
      • Signal Lists
      • I/O registers
  • Development of HMI/RTU configuration files.
  • Support Panel Manufacturers queries
  • Support on-site SCADA issues - Red/Green markup drawings
  • Review Vendor drawings
  • Attend FAT's as required.
  • Support commissioning activities

What are we looking for?

  • UK NGET and/or DNO experience
  • Development of SCADA HMI Systems
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant BSEN, IEC, CIGRE, IEEE and ENA
  • Understanding of ABB Hitachi, SEL, MircoSCADA, Ziv SCADA solutions, GE iFix SCADA.
  • Understanding of communications protocols - typically DNP3, IEC61850, Modbus, IEC 60870-5-104
  • SCADA Design Experience
