Job Description: SCADA Consultant - GE iFIX

We are seeking a skilled SCADA Consultant with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in GE iFIX SCADA systems, PLC integration, and L2/L3 support. The ideal candidate will support SCADA development, configuration, patching, and incident resolution, especially around iFIX 6.5 and GE IGS 7.8 environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot SCADA/PLC systems with a focus on GE iFIX SCADA (v6.5).
• Configure and manage IGS OPC servers, including user roles and security zones.
• Administer and maintain Historian Servers and manage GE license updates, patch installations, and server maintenance.
• Provide L2 and L3 support for SCADA incidents, including shutdown activities and coordination with key users and external vendors.
• Ensure smooth operations of SCADA infrastructure and support daily operations.
• Maintain flexibility to work in varied shifts and offer support during critical activities.
• Communicate fluently in English with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in GE iFIX SCADA development and troubleshooting
• Configuration expertise in IGS OPC servers (user and security configuration)
• Familiarity with GE iFIX 6.5 and GE IGS 7.8
• Exposure to Historian Server configuration and maintenance
• Experience in server patching, GE licensing, and SCADA support models
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA programming is a plus
• Excellent English communication skills
