SC CLEARED - Service Designer

SC Cleared Service Designer (GDS)

• 3-5-month contract
• London based - 1 day per week on site
• £450.00pd (Inside IR35)
• Active SC Clearance required
• Starting ASAP

An opportunity has arisen within Central Government for a Service Designer on an initial 3-5 month contract starting ASAP.

The Service Designer will work with cross-functional teams to define and map user journeys and service processes in line with service design methodologies, creating templates and service maps throughout the product life cycle.

You will also continuously assess and optimise processes, support product approval and change management, and define metrics while analysing data to present actionable insights.

Skills:

• Service design experience including workshops, prototyping and presenting complex processes clearly
• Using research and data to inform design choices
• Experience with service mapping and visualisation tools
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working in agile delivery teams across multiple products
• Service design coaching background desirable
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence
• Knowledge of the Government Service Standard and Service Manual
