SAP SD store to ship consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Store to Ship Consultant with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA and ECC6, focusing on Inventory Management and Logistics Execution.

This role demands strong functional knowledge of both platforms, including hands-on experience with Fiori apps, Embedded Analytics (CDS Views), and cross-module integration. The ideal candidate will support the full project life cycle, from design to post Go-Live support, including cutover, data reconciliation, and user enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the Store to Ship business process within SAP SD in both ECC and S/4HANA environments.

• Configure and support Inventory Management processes: goods receipts, goods issues, transfer postings.

• Manage Logistics Execution processes including inbound/outbound deliveries and output determination.

• Leverage S/4HANA Fiori apps/tiles and Embedded Analytics (CDS Views) for reporting, monitoring, and business insight.

• Analyze and communicate functional differences between ECC6 and S/4HANA, especially around new and improved functionalities.

• Execute cutover activities: data collation, cleansing, upload, validation, and reconciliation.

• Provide post-Go-Live support to end users, including issue resolution and day-to-day SAP guidance.

• Utilize SAP standard reports and ad-hoc data extracts (including Excel) for analysis, troubleshooting, and reconciliation of master and transactional data.

• Perform functional debugging, tracing, and root-cause analysis of system issues and process gaps.

• Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance across modules.

• Produce and maintain documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer sessions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience with SAP SD module, specifically Store to Ship processes.

• Demonstrated expertise with SAP S/4HANA and ECC6, including clear understanding of platform differences.

• Proficient in Inventory Management and Logistics Execution configuration and support.

• Practical knowledge of Fiori user interface and CDS Views in S/4HANA.

• Experience with data migration and cutover activities including reconciliation strategies.

• Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues across SAP modules.

• Skilled in data reporting and extraction, using SAP reports and Excel for reconciliation and analysis.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to SAP EWM, MM, or FI integration points.

• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

• SAP certification(s) in SD or S/4HANA a plus.

The client offers mostly remote work for this role, but sporadic travel to several locations in Europe might be required.
