SAP S/4 HANA ABAP Developer:

For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced SAP S/4 HANA ABAP Developer for a long contract based in Amsterdam.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As an SAP S/4HANA Developer, you will be part of a greenfield S/4HANA implementation project. Your primary responsibility will be the design, development, testing, and support of ABAP objects. Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate closely with SAP functional consultants to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionalities.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and develop appropriate solutions.
• Ensure adherence to clean core and cloud-ready development principles.
• Foster strong professional relationships with team members and clients to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
• Work across various SAP functional areas such as EAM, P2P, FICO, O2C, MM, etc.

Competencies:

• SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) - Strong proficiency with and without HANA.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with S/4HANA innovations, including:
• CDS Views and RAP framework.
• Key user extensibility and on-stack developer extensibility.
• RICEF objects, Workflows, Web Dynpro, OData, ADT, Eclipse.
• SP upgrades and ABAP Unit Testing framework.
• Familiarity with released APIs and best practices for building custom Fiori applications using Fiori elements templates.
• Experience with Business Application Studio (BAS) and Fiori Adaptation Projects.
