SAP PP-PI Functional Expert - 6-Month Contract - Hybrid (London)

We're seeking a highly experienced SAP PP-PI Functional Expert to support a global manufacturing transformation programme. This role will focus on production planning, capacity optimisation, and integrated manufacturing processes within a complex SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support SAP PP-PI implementations and rollouts across manufacturing environments.
Design and configure PP-PI processes across Process, Repetitive, and Discrete Manufacturing.
Drive capacity planning and production scheduling initiatives using SAP PP and integrated planning tools.
Design and maintain batch management processes including Batch Determination and Batch Derivation.
Integrate SAP PP with APO, IBP, PPDS, PM, QM, WM, SD, and external planning tools.
Support interface development and ensure stable data flow between SAP and external manufacturing systems (eg, MES/OMP).
Engage business stakeholders to capture requirements and drive continuous process optimisation.
Support multiple production sites, resolving plant-specific configuration and planning challenges.
Collaborate with global delivery teams across regions.

What You Will Ideally Bring

15+ years of hands-on SAP PP-PI experience, ideally within process industries.
Strong expertise in Capacity Planning and Production Scheduling.
Deep understanding of SAP batch management functionalities.
Proven experience integrating SAP PP with adjacent modules and external systems.
Strong stakeholder management skills within global manufacturing organisations.
Experience with MES integrations and advanced planning tools.
Exposure to regulated industry environments is highly desirable.
Ability to lead workshops and drive solution design decisions.

Contract Details

Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
Day Rate: Up to £600 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London - Hybrid
Start Date: ASAP
